UX/UI system design allows your business to rapidly deploy updates at scale and quickly adjust to changing markets and consumer needs.

Time-to-Market

We understand that timing is of the essence when it comes to meeting business needs. Alignment with market initiatives, product roll-outs, events, target dates, budgets,…and more. That is why we’re upfront about feasible dates and timing.

Collaboration across disciplines helps us achieve rapid workflow, client reviews, cross-platform deployments and positive outcomes.

Rapid prototyping

Our team often utilizes rapid prototyping solutions to premptively validate user experience. This also provides our clients with a high-fidelity solution prior to development sprints which often assist in internal stakeholder feedback. This also mitigates against potential overages because testing and approvals occur prior to full-fledged development and deployment.

Prototypes also enable brand alignment with other marketing vendors, advertising agency or product teams. This provides a detailed visual architecture for software developers to finalize deployment ready, clean code.

US-Based

Our distributed teams are based in the United States. Mostly in California & Arizona.

Agile / Lean / Hybrid

Different methodologies for different solutions.

Waterfall project methodology is a model in which every stage of a product’s life cycle takes place in sequence. The progress flows steadily downwards through these phases like a waterfall.

Agile software development methodology is the model that proposes a sequential, linear and iterative approach.

Lean Software Development (LSD) is an agile framework based on optimizing development time and resources, eliminating waste, and ultimately delivering only what the product needs. The Lean approach is also often referred to as the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) strategy, in which a team releases a bare-minimum version of its product to the market, learns from users what they like, don’t like and want to be added, and then iterates based on this feedback.

Strengths:

  • Streamlined approach allows more functionality to be delivered in less time
  • Eliminates unnecessary activity, and as a result can reduce costs
  • Empowers the development team to make decisions, which can also boost morale

Weaknesses:

  • Heavily depends on the team involved
  • Depends on strong documentation
Deciding what you need

An important aspect of deciding how to structure your technology needs comes from assessing your near-term goals and long-term goals.

Considerations:

  • What do you need the website to accomplish?
  • How will the website benefit your business operations?
  • Is the website consumer facing, internal facing, or both?
  • What’s your timeline? (when does website need to go-live, how long will it last, etc)
  • Do you have internal teams who will eventually manage the website?
  • How familiar is your company with managing websites?

Ask us!

We will tell you how to best assess your needs…even if that means you hire someone else.

How to estimate project size

All website builds are different.

During our initial meeting we will discuss the scope of your project and suggest solutions to meet your desired outcomes as well as timeline and process.

Establishing a clear, transparent working model is imperative to meeting your website needs and achieving goals.

T-shirt sizing:
One of the methods used in agile website development is known as ‘T-shirt sizing’. This concept gathers inputs from key stakeholders, designers, developers, project managers and CRUX (creative and user experience) teams in order to assess an approximate time/bandwidth estimate.

This provides greater transparency as well as a flexible working model to meet your needs.

How to get started

Getting started is easy.

Book a Meeting:
When contacting us simply let us know your industry, company/organization name, contact info, and the desired service you’re interested in. As well as, if you need a website built new or enhance an existing application?

Estimating:
When estimating these are a few bits of information to provide:

  1. Timeline (key dates)
  2. Your Key Stakeholders (for approvals)
  3. Desired OKRs (Objectives & Key Results)

Onboarding:
When starting, we will setup a file share folder and request:

  1. Your brand guidelines
  2. Approved assets (logos, fonts, images, graphics, videos, etc)
  3. System access/requirements  (eg/ delegate access to your WordPress CMS)
  4. Approval process
  5. Meeting cadence
  6. Timeline
  7. …and, other critical information.

Sprints:
Agile website development uses sprints to coordinate and deploy. In this process, we collaborate on selecting a list of priorities and implement website releases based on team structure, client needs, budget, dates, and user feedback.

This allows you to decide how fast you want to build based on your organization’s considerations.
